DCA App app for iPhone and iPad

The underlying purpose of DCAPP is aimed at preventative and mitigation action with the issuing of DCA permits for their euthanasia as the very last resort. With this underlying purpose, we as Elephants Alive have developed a DCA protocol aimed at:

· measuring and assessing the cause for destructive, learned behavior, thereby making allowance for preventative action.

· Evaluating whether an elephant that has entered a prohibited area, should be categorized as a DCA.

· Providing the opportunity to mitigate human-wildlife conflict if remedial measures are applicable.

Using DCAPP makes allowance for all DCA cases to immediately be logged in a central database
